About Our Western Horse Jewelry
I created my western horse jewelry a few years back. My sister, the horsewoman in the family, helped me with my first designs. Now I have them available in several different mediums.

I’ve gotten a bit interested in horse facts lately. You may already be aware of these things if you’re a horse person, but I thought I’d pass them on anyway.

All equids are herbivores. All of them have long heads and necks with slender legs ending with all the weight being born on the middle digit of each hoofed foot. All horses have a mane on the neck, but for some reason only the domestic horse has a mane that falls to the side. Now why do you suppose that would be? It seems if the modern horse was descended from a wild ancestor, that perhaps there’s one ancestor as yet undiscovered that actually had a mane like the modern domesticated horse. Listen to me- Merry the horse historian! Or maybe it’s just common sense. (Notice I did NOT say that other kind of sense, the kind that would make a terrible pun.)

I’ll just keep in my place and do the best I can as an animal artist, pardon my waxing enthusiastic on matters I don’t really understand. Having a creative mind can be such a burden sometimes.

I do hope you enjoy my horse jewelry and can find something that suits your purposes!
