About Our Quarter Horse Jewelry

I thoroughly enjoyed designing my quarter horse jewelry, the most recent of my horse designs. I guess I got a little carried away, having 3 different sized pendants, besides the earrings and charms. I’ve been doing a little research on horses lately and thought I’d insert a bit of interesting information in my product description! I just finished reading about the “dawn horse” which lived about 70 million years ago. This little horse had a skull about the size of a hare, forefeet with four toes and hind feet with three toes. I sometimes fantasize (very briefly) about walking the earth millions of years ago and seeing these early animal versions in person. 70 million years from today will there be yet another version of the horse?  Interesting thought! It’s hard to imagine improving on the beauty of the modern horse. I believe they are truly one of the most aesthetic creatures on the planet. Seeing  a horse, or several or a whole herd of horses in motion is always a highlight when I am traveling. And a colt kicking up his heels is always a delightful part of  my equine sightings.
