Chihuahua jewelry for every occasion! The way I look at if, or rather the way I would look at it if I were a Chihuahua owner, is that you just can’t have too much Chihuahua jewelry! Now here’s a confusing bit of history on this breed. The Chihuahua is considered to be the oldest breed in continental America, native to Mexico and having been introduced by Chinese people. WHAT! I must delve a bit further and see what I come up with. OK, now this makes a bit more sense. The breed was first come upon in Mexico in the 1800s, but the Chihuahua as we know it was developed by Aztecs crossing the Chinese crested dog and another small hairless Asian dog in the 9th century. Nope, I’m still not getting this. Is there some major history lesson I slept through in the 7th grade? Chinese in ancient South America? I realize I’m letting my ignorance show, but this information is confusing at first and even second glance. It also shows my inability to take the time and delve further into this baffling problem. Perhaps one of my customers can help clear this up, as there’s something I’m clearly not getting here. In any event, Chihuahuas are certainly adorable little dogs with big personalities, and I hope you Chihuahua lovers out there will forgive my ignorance, not holding it against me as you ponder ordering a piece of my Chihuahua jewelry!
