About Our Short Haired Cat Jewelry

The short haired cat jewelry group contains some of my favorite ever Magic Zoo designs!  More than any other cat design, I really feel my own love of cats expressed itself in the short haired cat collection. I’ve always had short haired cats for feline companions, mostly of the tabby cat variety. I suppose I never thought I’d be too consistent with brushing the flowing locks of a cat with long hair. I’ve been learning some cat facts and thought I’d pass them on. I never knew this, but there are considered to be three categories of cat sounds. The first one is the quiet group of sounds, and includes purring. Also included in this “quiet” category would be other sweet sounds they make that are considered “murmurs”, all of which are made with the mouth shut. Next are the group that consists of variations of the classic “meow” sound. Any cat lover knows there is a whole language here, from the simple “let me outside” to the “how about some dinner”, often expressed starting several hours before you actually intend to feed them. The howling, growling sounds are pretty distinctive and often pretty annoying, especially outside your bedroom window, but what can you do? What I do is usually throw on a robe and disrupt what is either an incipient cat fight or a rollicking good time between consenting cats. Neither one of which do I care to be participating in as a voyeur at 2:00 in the morning. My current relationship with cats has more to do with designing them for you to wear than it does feeding or cuddling them. But someday a kitty will once again grace the Rosenfield household.
